President Maithripala Sirisena has left for India this morning for a private visit.
President Sirisena is scheduled to visit and offer prayers to the Lord Venkateswara Temple at Tirumala tomorrow.
He had visited the temple in August 2016 and February 2015, and this would be his third visit.
According to media reports, the president will land at Renigunta Airport from Hyderabad and after a night’s stay, he would take part in the ‘Suprabhatha‘ ritual the next day.
The President will fly to Bangalore after offering prayers.
