Protest outside UN: Wimal noticed

Colombo Chief Magistrate Gihan Pilapitiya today noticed MP Wimal Weerawansa and seven others to appear in Court on March 18 for obstructing the Bauddhaloka Mawatha and the Havelock Road during a protest campaign on February 6, 2016.

A group of people including Mr. Weerawansa held the protest campaign outside the UN Office at Thunmulla Junction against the visit of United Nations Human Rights High Commissioner Prince Zeid Ra'ad Al Hussein.(Shehan Chamika Silva)
