Colombo, September 30 - Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) Legal Secretary Farman Cassim has sent an application under the Right to Information Act (RTI) requesting details on the privileges which the Security Head of Ranil Wickremesinghe had allegedly asked for, on behalf of the former President.
SJB Weligama Organiser and former Chairman of the Weligama Pradeshiya Sabha Rehan Jayawickama said his party has filed this application over a purported letter sent by Wickremesinghe’s Security Head Nizam Jamaldeen.
“I am awaiting a reply from the former President’s office,” Jayawickrama said in his X message, regarding the RTI request.
