SJB ready for debate even with government leaders

Colombo, May 29 (Daily Mirror)- The Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) today said it is ready to have a public debate even with government leaders other than the National Peoples Power (NPP).

The remark came from SJB MPs Kabir Hashim and Eran Wickramaratne at a media briefing today. 

"We are ready to debate with any party, including the government leaders any time," MP Wickramaratne said.

MP Hashim also came up with a similar sentiment. 

MP Harsha De Silva who referred to the proposed debate with the NPP said his party is also ready for it. 

"We are ready for the debate with the NPP. I have seen someone saying that the proposed debate is a joke. Talking about economic policies will never be a joke," he said.
