SJB says not every Tom, Dick and Harry are welcome to the party

Colombo, Jan. 3 (Daily Mirror)- Voicing their opinion on the recent crossovers of some MPs to the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB), two members of Parliament from the party Dr. Harsha de Silva and Eran Wickramaratne said those who are responsible for the economic debacle will not be welcomed to their party.

“We are not willing to flock together with those who are responsible for the economic downturn,” MP Eran Wickramaratne said.

He was referring to questions raised by journalists at a news briefing on the recent crossovers to the SJB fold.   

“Those who want to join us should be clean and be prepared to accept our economic policies,” Dr. de Silva said.
