SL Navy intercepts multiday and fishing trawlers with heroin on Southern Seas

Galle, Jan 20 (Daily Mirror) - Following a special operation mounted by the Sri Lanka Navy, a local multiday fishing trawler and a one-day fishing trawler with a stock of narcotics, suspected to be heroin, have been intercepted on the Southern seas.

The Navy said the seized trawlers and suspects aboard are being escorted to the Galle harbour for onward action.
