SSP Manathunga appointed Director of Police Media, replacing DIG Thalduwa

Colombo, Dec 03 (Daily Mirror) - Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) K.B. Manathunga has been appointed as the new Director of the Police Media Division and Police Spokesman, replacing DIG Nihal Thalduwa. 

SSP Manathunga has been transferred from the Kantale Division to assume this role while Thalduwa will continue in his capacity as the DIG of Crimes Range.

Meanwhile, SSP I.U.K. Lokuhetti has been transferred as the Director of the Colombo Crimes Division, moving from the Director of the Exam Division.

SSP H.D.K.S. Perera has been appointed as the new Director of the Terrorism Prevention and Investigation Division, transferring from the Colombo Frauds Investigation Division.

In addition, SP K.A. Udaya Kumara has been transferred as the Director of the Walana Anti-Corruption Unit from the Puttalam Division.
