Saliya ends Isipathana coaching stint on a high

Former Vidyartha College, Trinity College, Kandy SC and national player plus Havelock Sports Club and Isipathana College Head Coach, Saliya Kumara has decided to end his stint with Isipathana College after having completed a successful three-year contract with the Greens.

Saliya steered Isipathana to clinch one league championship, one runner-up place and one third place finish while in the knock-out tournaments Isipathana won two championships and one runners-up trophy during his stint.

Meanwhile, according to reliable source he is tipped to take over the head coaching role at St. Anthony’s College, Katugastoa for the 2025 Inter-Schools rugby season with effect from October 2024.
