Colombo, Feb 27 (Daily Mirror) - Two persons arriving on a motorcycle near a hotel (Pearl Beach) along Marine Drive in Wellawatte fired shots into the air before fleeing, police said.
They said that the persons in question fled after firing a T-56 firearm into the air.
Police recovered at least nine empty shells at the scene and suspect that the shots fired may have been a warning.
The Wellawatte Police are investigating into the incident.
