Chamari Athapaththu top scored with 33 and Harshitha Samarawickrama contributed an unbeaten 29 to help Sri Lanka Women to a comfortable seven-wicket, series-levelling win in the second T20I in Colombo today.
Bangladesh were bowled out for 100 in 18.3 overs, with Udeshika Prabodhani, Sugandika Kumari, Inoka Ranaweera and Kavisha Dilhari all taking two wickets each for the hosts.
Oshadi Ranasinghe and Kawya Kavindini took a wicket each, ensuring that all six of the bowlers used were among the wickets.
Those wickets came at a fairly regular clip, with the opening partnership of 28 between Shamima Sultana and Rubya Haider being the best of the Bangladesh innings.
Sultana and Sobhana Mostary each scored 18, and were the top scorers for Bangladesh.
Sri Lanka made light work of the chase following Athapaththu's contribution at the top of the innings, with Dilhari (20) seeing out the winning with Samarawickrama.
