Colombo, April 21 (Daily Mirror) - A tense standoff unfolded outside the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) headquarters on Darley Road in Colombo 10, as a group attempting to enter the party building was met with resistance from the police.
Tempers flared as the authorities obstructed the entry, leading to a tense atmosphere in the vicinity.
Adding to the intrigue, Minister of Justice Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe was appointed by a faction of the party as the Acting Chairman of the SLFP, further fuelling speculation and interest in the ongoing developments within the party.
