Three-hour power shedding will be in place tomorrow and no power shedding has been announced during the night, the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) said.
PUCSL Chairman Janaka Ratnayake said a three hour power cut will be in place for all groups from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm.
However, the consumers would experience a 30-minute unscheduled power shedding during peak hours if necessary to manage excess demand.
Therefore, consumers are kindly advised to reduce consumption between 6.00 pm and 10.00 pm (late evening peak hours) to avoid interruption. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
