Three women CIs promoted as ASPs

Three women Chief Inspectors (CI) of Police have been promoted to the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) based on their seniority and skills, the Police said.

They said the National Police Commission approved the promotions with effect from February 27, 2015.

Accordingly, the promoted women chief Inspectors were; W.A.G.N.P. Weerakkody of Ministerial Security Division, N.A.S. Marambe of Crimes Record Division and A.A.J.K Seneviratna of Kandy Division.(DS)
