Two killed, six injured in lorry-jumbo accident

Matale, Daily Mirror)- Two individuals were killed and six others injured after a lorry that hit a wild elephant toppled over at Wanduramulla on the Moragahakanda-Naula road early this morning.

The initial investigations have revaled that the lorry had hit the wild elephant that attempted to cross the road abruptly.

The injured were admitted to the Kongahawela Hospital and two of them were transfered to the Matale Hospital.
