Ugandan national with cocaine arrested at Katunayake airport

BIA, June 9 (Daily Mirror) - A 31-year-old Ugandan national was arrested by officers of the Police Anti-Narcotics Bureau at the Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake while in possession of cocaine.

The suspect arrived in the country from Qatar, having swallowed the cocaine pills for concealment.

After being admitted to the Negombo Hospital, 14 cocaine pills were recovered from the suspect.

The Police Narcotics Bureau is investigating into the incident.
