Vehicle carrying Dilan Perera to SJB rally meets with accident on E01

Colombo, July 13 (Daily Mirror)- The vehicle carrying Parliamentarian Dilan Perera met with an accident on the Southern Expressway (E01) while heading to a Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) rally in Mathugama today.

The MP escaped unhurt and his secretary sustained serious injuries and was admitted to the Nagoda Hospital.

The vehicle had crashed onto the safety fence.

Police said five persons, including Dilan Perera and two security personnel were in the vehicle at the time of the accident.
