Water supply to be disrupted in Colombo

Colombo. Jan 12 (Daily Mirror) -  The National Water Supply & Drainage Board (NWSDB) announced a planned suspension of water supply for specific areas in Colombo on January 13, impacting several neighbourhoods. 

The temporary water cut is to facilitate essential maintenance work as part of the Ambatale Water Supply System Improvements and Energy Saving Project and will be for a 16-hour period.

Commencing at 5:00 p.m. on January 13, the interruption in water supply will last till 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, January 14.

Residents and businesses within the affected zones, namely Colombo 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15, are advised to make necessary preparations to address their water needs during this planned maintenance period.
