Kaduwela, Feb 22 (Daily Mirror) - Malalage Sudath Kithsiri alias 'Weliwita Sudda' suspected as a kingpin behind drug trafficking was arrested by the Kaduwela police. He had in his possession 15.300 grams of heroin at the time of arrest.

Police said the suspect who had fled from the area had been  absconding for a long time.

 He was produced before the Kaduwela Magistrate Chanima Wijebandara and remanded till March 06.

He is suspected as the actual owner of the fleet of vehicles, including five luxury buses, a motorcar and a motorcycle seized by the Illegal Assets Investigation Unit of the CID when the registered owner had failed to explain the source of income for the purchase of the vehicles.
