Xi Jinping’s special envoy Yiqin arrives

KATUNAYAKE (Daily Mirror) - Chinese President Xi Jinping's special envoy and State Councillor Shen Yiqin arrived in Sri Lanka today for a four-day official visit.

She will be in Sri Lanka till November 21.

Sports Minister Roshan Ranasinghe welcomed her at the Bandaranaike International Airport on her arrival. State Minister Tharaka Balasooriya and Chinese Ambassador to Sri Lanka Qi Zhenhong were also present. 

The primary aim of State Councillor Shen Yiqin's visit is to explore and enhance mutually beneficial cooperation.
