Youth shot dead inside mobile shop in Malimbada

Matara, Jan 20 (Daily Mirror) - A 24-year-old youth was killed in a shooting at Malimbada in Thelijjawela, Matara tonight, police said.

They said that two men arrived on a motorcycle at a mobile shop had opened fire on the victim with a pistol.

The Malimbada Police are investigating to arrest the shooters and determine the motive behind the shooting.

The victim was identified as a resident of Welipitiya.
