The interim order preventing Fonterra from advertising that its products are 100% perfect has been extended until September 20 by the Court of Appeal today
The Bench comprising Justices S. Sriskandarajah (President) and Malinie Gunaratne fixed September 18 as the date to take up the writ petition stating that the milk power imported from New Zealand is contaminated with Dicyandiamide (DCD) which is harmful to human health.
The petitioner K.S. Samarasinghe cited the CAA, its Chairman Rumy Marsook, CAA members, Fonterra Brands Lanka (Pvt) Ltd. and the Attorney General as respondents.
