Air support for flood affected

The Sri Lanka Air Force have deployed eight helicopters consisting of Bell 212s and Mi17 helicopters for rescue operations in flood affected areas including Anuradhapura and Batticaloa. More than 17000 kilos of relief supplies have also been airlifted for the victims.
Twenty five people have been rescued by the SLAF from the North Central Province thus far.
