Black market ticket sellers arrested

Two employees of the Sri Lanka Cricket's World Cup Secretariat who sold Rs.50 World Cup tickets for Rs.1300 and Rs1500 for the upcoming match between Sri Lanka and Pakistan were arrested by the Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) this afternoon.

They have confessed to the police that they are employees attached to the Sri Lanka Cricket's World Cup Secretariat. The suspects are residents of Maligawatta and they are to be produced before the courts and now being questioned under detention orders. (Supun Dias)
