Bodies of mother and infant found inside a well

The bodies of a one-and-a-half- year old infant and his 38-year-old mother were found dead inside a well in Vihara Junction at Dambulla this morning.

The Police are yet to ascertain the cause of death and are conducting further investigations into the tragedy.
