Fire in Kollupitiya

A fire broke out in a room at a five-storey building on the 16th Lane in Kollupitiya a short while ago, police said.

The fire brigade said some furniture inside the room had caught fire. The fire was doused and no injuries were reported. The cause for the fire has not been revealed.
