Business Mafia spreading disease –UNP

The UNP today charged that the business mafias in the country had caused the spread of dengue and the kidney disease in the North Central Province.

UNP General Secretary Tissa Attanayake told a news conference today that companies which markets pesticide are the very persons who allow the mosquitoes to breed. He said the situation is same with the kidney disease as it is the same companies that import Arsenic contaminated pesticides that distribute medicines which are given to kidney diseases. (YP)
