Leader of Democratic Party Sarath Fonska today said that he and the Former Chief Justice Dr. Shirani Bandaranayake had suffered the same fate.

Mr. Fonseka was referring to the order given by the Bribery Commission to the Department of Immigration to impound the passport of the former Chief Justice.

He alleged that this decision was taken to stop Dr. Bandaranayake from taking up her case with the international community.

He said that he also was prevented from meeting the international community in the same way as the government was worried he would work with the international community to put the country on the right track.(Yohan Perera, Pix by Kushan Pathiraja)
