Foreign ​couple assaulted at a night-club

A Swiss couple who had been assaulted at a nightclub located in Cinnamon Gardens last night, has lodged a complaint with the Mirihana Police.
 
The victimized couple in their complaint to the Police had stated they were assaulted by a group of men at the nightclub. After the complaint was lodged, the couple had been sent to the Kalubowila hospital to attend to the injuries they had suffered due to the assault.
 
Police said further investigations are being carried out into the complaint.
