Former MP Wasantha Perera remanded

Former Matale District UPFA MP Lakshman Wasantha Perera who was arrested today on charges of allegedly abducting a man and assaulting, was remanded till August 6 by Matale Magistrate.

He was arrested after he surrendered to the Matale Police this morning.(Mahesh Keerthirathna)
