Fraudster arrested

A fraudster who defrauded close to Rs. 5 million from 15 unsuspecting foreign job seekers was arrested by the police from Rathnapura.

The suspect who was wanted for scamming Rs. 4,907,400 had been evading the police when he was arrested. The Special Investigations Unit of the Colombo Crimes Division is conducting further investigations.  The suspect is scheduled to be presented in Court today.(GS)
