Despite reports that popular actresses and songstresses who aspired to represent the UPFA at the upcoming Western provincial likely to be rejected nominations, singer Judith White aka ‘Ginger’ said she is 200% confident of receiving nominations to represent the UPFA at the election.

Judith who spoke to Daily Mirror a short while ago on reports of being rejected nominations assured they are only speculations and added she believes the reports are results of rumours circulated by the Opposition that feels threatened by them.

“We are due to be informed of final decisions by February 6 but I have no doubts concerning my chance at representing the UPFA. These claims of being rejected of nominations are due to the Opposition being threatened by the trend of popular figures contesting at the upcoming provincial polls representing the UPFA,” she said.

Speaking further she said that through her experiences of working as a singer for the past 12 years she is well aware of the current affairs in the country and added she is certain of her capability and suitability to represent the UPFA and contest at the upcoming provincial polls.

Meanwhile, actresses Gayesha Perera and Ruwanthi Mangala who are among the other popular figures who are likely to be rejected nominations claimed they have not been informed of such a decision and refused to comment further. (Lakna Paranamanna)
