Lanka lacking leaders

Sri Lanka has a shortage of leaders, Youth Affairs and Skills Development Minister Dullas Alahapperuma said addressing an event in Ambilipitiya today. He added that there was a lack of political leaders in the country.

Further he said that some became leaders by forcing others to vote or by joining politics. “Some join politics and become leaders while other are leaders before joining politics” Minister Alahapperuma said.

He further mentioned that there were a number of underworld leaders and those involved in leading bad elements. (Daily Mirror online)
