Lankan flight detained in Paris

A Sri Lankan airline (UL 564) was detained at the Charles De Gaulle Airport in Paris owing to ‘technical deviations’ almost a week ago, the airline said in a statement.

However SriLankan has assured all passengers who were booked on the said flight from Paris have been offered alternate onward flights.

“On Friday September 23, the London to Colombo flight was diverted via Paris to uplift some of the passengers who were booked on the delayed flight “the statement said.
 
SriLankan engineering staff and the airline’ technical service provider in Paris, Air France is currently attending to “technical deviations”, of which no further information was given.
