Journalists who are traveling to Jaffna need to inform the Ministry of Defence (MOD) even when traveling to cover Presidential rallies by candidates, Army Spokesman Brigadier Udaya Nanayakkara told Daily Mirror online. He added that journalists need to inform the Presidential Media Unit if they were covering an event attended by the President in the Jaffna Peninsula. (GS)
