Menushika Jayani Kariyawasam of Rathnawali Balika Vidyalaya, Gampaha and Thapodha Harindi Gangodawila of Visakha Vidyalaya, Colombo topped the island rankings at the GCE O/L examinations this year while M.W. Uchitha Thejan Gunasekara of Rahula College, Matara clinched the second place and M. Ravin Lasindu Tennakoon of Ananda College, Colombo was placed third, the Education Department announced today.
