Chief Incumbent of the Mihintale Rajamaha Vihara Ven. Namalwewa Rathnasara Thero was arrested at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) on an arrest warrant today, police sources said.
 
The arrest warrant was issued by the Anuradhapura Chief Magistrate Darshika Vimalasuriya ordered on August 12 to immediately arrest the chief incumbent of the Mihintale Rajamaha Vihara on a repeated sexual abuse charge involving a 13-year-old girl.
