The skies over Sri Lanka have begun to clear in most parts of the country with the monsoon beginning to recede, according to the Department of Meteorology.
Speaking to Daily Mirror online, Deputy Director of the Department of Meteorology S.R Jayasekera stated however that there is a threat of sudden heavy showers in the South Westerns parts of the country. (KA)
