No Lankans on board missing flight

The Sri Lankan High Commission in Malaysia has confirmed that there were no Sri Lankan passengers on board the Malaysia Airlines flight which lost contact with air traffic controllers early today.

“The Sri Lankan High Commission in Kuala Lumpur confirmed that there were no Sri Lankans on board the missing flight," a spokesman for the Sri Lanka External Affairs Ministry told Daily Mirror online.
