Norway confirms Lankan interview

Deputy Chief of Mission, Minister Counsellor of the Norwegian Embassy in Colombo Jon O. Brødholt also confirmed today that an individual of Sri Lankan origin was interviewed by a Norwegian court.

“We can confirm that an individual of Sri Lankan origin living in Norway has been interviewed by a Norwegian court with the participation of Dutch police. The individual was interviewed as a witness at the request of Dutch authorities regarding a case currently investigated in the Netherlands,” he said in response to a question by Daily Mirror.
