One killed, five injured in brawl

One person was killed and five injured including a UNP Ja-Ela Pradeshiya Sabha member, following a clash between two groups in Medagamuwa, Gampaha on Saturday night, police said.
Initial investigations revealed that the clash had erupted due to a personal dispute while the injured were admitted to nearby hospitals. Two persons were taken into police custody in connection with the incident.
The deceased was identified as the brother of the injured Pradeshiya Sabha member.
