Almost 120,000 families have illegally occupied land plots on government sanctuaries, forests reserves and unoccupied land, Commissioner General of the Land Commissioner General's Department S.B.A.B Boralasa told Daily Mirror online.

He added that some families have been occupying the land illegally for more than 10 years and that plans were in place to relocate them to new areas with the help of the Divisional secretariats. (ISA)
