A convict detained at the Bogambara Prison was found hanging inside the cell this morning, a Bogambara prison official said

The 54-year-old inmate was serving a life sentence at the Bogambara prison and had been commended for good behavior, the Superintendant of the Prison Tissa Jayasinghe said.
Prison officials are conducting investigations into the incident.( Shane Senevirathne)
