Ranil for cricket select committee

UNP leader Ranil Wickremesinghe today called for a parliamentary select committee for Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) to which the SLC officials could report to.

Mr. Wickremesinghe who met a group representatives and coaches of several sports clubs, said a Bill which determines the structure of the SLC, and the method of appointing the selection committee should be drafted and presented to Parliament without delay. (YP)
