The driver of the escort squad of the Sabaragamuwa Chief Minister, who was arrested yesterday allegedly with 3 Kgs of ganja in the vehicle, had been remanded till July 22, the Police said.

Excise Department officials recovered the ganja from the vehicle of the escort squad during a raid at Atthanagoda.

The suspect was remanded after being produced in the Kegalle Magistrate’s Court.
