Sathya Sai Baba's condition has deteriorated even further and doctors said his liver was not responding to treatment.

He is in a critical state and is still on ventilator support and his low blood pressure continued to be a cause of worry, along with his kidneys.

The 86-year-old godman was admitted to Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences (SSIHMS) in Puttaparthi on March 28.
"Statistically, when an individual is having multi organ dysfunction with disseminated intravascular coagulation the chances of recovery are very less. But still we are doing every effort possible, we are leaving no stone unturned to see that Baba gets the best possible treatment," said SSIHMS Health Department Director Ravi Raju.
Meanwhile, lakhs of devotees have congregated at Puttaparthi, praying for a miracle - even though section 144 have been imposed around the hospital.
Security has been tightened at his Ashram too as lakhs of devotees are pouring in to pray for him. (CNN-IBN)
