“He (Sajith) has once held the post of deputy leader of the party, so his name would be given priority,” Mr. Wickremesinghe said addressing the UNP’s 68^th anniversary in Passara this evening.

Mr. Wickremesinghe however said the party’s Working Committee would decide about the deputy leader's post when it meets.
