MS convenes SLFP CC meeting

President Maithripala Sirisena has convened a meeting of the Central Committee of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party, scheduled for 9.00 am today, at his official residence in Colombo, to discuss the formation of a National government, informed sources said.

Earlier, an enjoining order had been issued by the District Court of Colombo, preventing the convening of an SLFP Central Committee meeting without the consent of the party chairman -- President Maithripala Sirisena
