UPFA wins Talawakale-Lindula UC

The UPFA has won the Talawakale-Lindula Urban Council in the Nuwara Eliya district of the Local Government Election 2011. UPFA has received 1988 votes with seven seats, while UNP has got only 1002 votes with two seats. Only six votes were received by the JVP.
