Five supporters of a National Freedom Front (NFF) candidate were arrested this morning while they were allegedly pasting posters at Mundala in Puttalam, police said.

The NFF is led by Minister Wimal Weerawansa. The suspects were later released on bail. (Hiran Priyankara Jayasinghe)
