The Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP), an ally of the government, suggested today that it would be appropriate to conduct the elections to the provincial councils soon. The party did it at the Select Committee of Parliament to Identify Appropriate Reforms of the Election Laws and the Electoral System and to Recommend Necessary Amendments.
